Vajrayogini Tibetan Thangka

Availability: In stock

Hand painted and detailed with gold and framed in a traditional multi-color Tibetan brocade. Highly regarded profession in the old Tibet, Thangka painting craft is fast becoming a lost craft. Thangkas can serve as beautiful wall decor while purifying the energies around the house or office.

Vajravarahi also known as Vajrayogini ranks first and most important among all the Tibetan dakinis. She is "Sarva-buddha-dakini" the dakini who is the essence of all Buddhas. She is mostly shown as young, naked, and standing in a desirous or dancing posture. In this depiction, she's wearing a garland of human skulls with her face in a semi-wrathful expression. Her radiant red body is ablaze with the heat of yogic fire and surrounded by the flame of wisdom.
